If you don’t happen to be selected at first, Valve says not to worry. Once downloaded, players will launch CS:GO and select the “Limited Test” option to play.
Those selected will have to choose to enroll, and then download the test. Players who are selected will be notified in-game via a notification in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) main menu. “Players are selected based on a number of factors deemed important by the Counter-Strike 2 development team, including (but not limited to) recent playtime on Valve official servers, trust factor, and Steam account standing,” the company says. To get access to the Limited Test, Valve is currently selecting players to take part in it.
Counter-Strike 2 has officially been announced by Valve, and players can get in on the action starting today via the Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test.
